Bikinis and soup
You know what I love? Whipping up a good monthly budget. It just makes life seem so doable, you know? Here are a few other things keeping me happy these days:
Carver going pee and poop on the potty! Nothing monumental, we’re just getting him used to it, but its still a start!
Homemade bread and green minestrone…mmmm
My brilliant, successful husband kicking exam-week booty. Even better: break-week and our staycation. A few items on the agenda for next week: Ikea, backyard chickens, fishing and maybe some mountains.
What doesn’t make me so happy? Parent/child swim lessons at the Y make me feel like I need to buy a grown-up mom bathing suit. I am not ready for this.
